Longines Watch Twenty Fours Hours Mens. L2.751.4.53.4. A reimagining of one of Longines’ historic pilots watches from the 1950’s, a design so iconic it is on display at the Longines museum in St. Imier, the Longines Twenty Four Hours Mens watch delivers exactly what’s on the tin with a vintage-inspired 24 hour scale circumscribed around the centre of the dial. Unlike traditional timepieces that make two full circles of the dial in 24 hours, the Longines Twenty Four Hours watch and its L704.3 self-winding movement allows for only one rotation of the dial in a single day for hours, minutes and seconds. The Swiss made calibre also delivers a date window at 3 o’clock, a frequency 28,800 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 48 hours. Protecting the movement is a statement 47.5mm stainless steel case equipped with a smooth fixed bezel, 30 metre water resistant crown and scratch resistant sapphire crystal treated with several layers of anti-reflective coating on the underside. The movement within the Longines Twenty Four Hours Mens watch is put on display through a transparent case back fitted with a unique back cover decorated with the Longines EFCo emblem, a historic embellishment which celebrates the founder of Longines, Ernest Francillon. At is centre, the tasteful matte black dial ensures optimal legibility thanks to silvered polished hands and painted Arabic numerals treated with Swiss Superluminova and to match the Longines Twenty Four Hours watch is fitted with a black alligator leather strap.
