BROADSWORDJET Bremont’s iconic Broadsword watch is given a compelling modern makeover with an all-first black DLC finish in the Bremont Armed Forces Broadsword Jet. The stealthy utilitarian look celebrates the British watch manufacturer being awarded the Silver Armed Forces Covenant in recognition of their continued support of the Armed Forces. The 40mm black DLC case offers additional scratch resistance to pair with the already durable sapphire crystal glass, screw in crown and 100 metre water resistant rating. The case back is also finished in black DLC and engraved with Her Majesty’s Armed Forces Heraldic Badges. In contrast to the all-black look is elegant bronze detailing on the crown and dial. Bronze makes up the hour, minutes and small seconds hands which are also treated with white coloured Superluminova for exceptional legibility in low lighting. The hardware sits against a black metal centrepiece treated with Superluminova Arabic numerals in custom mint-colour and rounded indexes on a sloped minutes track. Powering the Bremont Armed Forces Broadsword Jet watch is the BE-95-2AV automatic winding movement, a Swiss watch calibre equipped with a Glucydur balance, Anachron balance spring and Nivaflex mainspring alongside 31 jewels and a frequency of 28,800vph. The movement also promises a 38 hour power reserve and has been chronometer certified. Completing the Bremont Broadsword Jet watch is a black rubber Temple Island strap and a bronze pin buckle.
