World-class Nikon build quality Compatible with Nikon F mount DSLRs The Nikon F mount was first introduced in 1959, and has since been adapted for the Nikon autofocus system culminating in the current generation of DX lenses, for APS-C DSLRs, and FX lenses, for full frame DSLRs. Wide angle, telephoto and zoom lenses are available for both sensor sizes, featuring movement-detecting Vibration Reduction technology and Extra-low dispersion (ED) glass to keep chromatic aberrations to a minimum.
