The Herring Stag Slipper is a classic velvet slipper handmade in England. Featuring a luxurious quilted lining and hand embroidered Stag, they’re not your average slipper. Often referred to as the Albert (after Queen Victoria’s consort), they were originally regarded as house shoes by the English. They became acceptable footwear for wearing with dinner jackets at home or at ones club, and remain so today.
