It uses a finely controlled spray booth to coat the uppers of your shoes in a fine, quick drying mist that uses nano-technology to make them incredibly water-repellent. We can treat your shoes as we pack them for despatch as an extra service. Almost all of our shoes are suitable for the treatment and the results are like magic! The coating is rated to last 3 months so just one coating could see you over the worst of the winter and could save you a ruined pair of shoes. We recommend you try it - it is revolutionary! You can still maintain your shoes is the same way with polishes etc as once the coating is dry you can`t tell it is on the shoe. This protection is not a guarantee against your shoes getting ruined by water but it is a very effective way of minimising water damage. THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE SERVICE - we apply this treatment to shoes you buy from us. It is not a physical product you can use yourself. Please note that not all shoes can be treated with the nano-coating so the service may not be offered depending on your purchases. We are not able to call this waterproofing but it will be effective at stopping surface water soaking in through the upper material.
