Herring Sophia is a light, flexilbe loafer made with care, by hand, in Italy using the finest calf leathers and sacchetto construction. The standout feature of this shoe, has to be the supple leather. It feels more like glove leather, it has been so carefully tanned, and the sacchetto construction allows the shoe to flex more than you would expect. This is a very complex process - it is like creating a bag inside the shoe - that only the best footwear makers can achieve. The sole is half-leather and half-rubber to give you some of the breathability and lightness of leather, combined with the durability and water resistance of rubber and is blake stitched to the upper. The heel provides a 20mm lift.
