Herring Ensign is a fully British-made trainer in a custom design, made for us by Norman Walsh. This has waxed cotton from the most famous Millerain factory combined with supple leathers and suede to make it a very English interpretation of a trainer - just what you would expect Herring to create! Ensign has the classic trainer silhouette - curved running sole with reinforced toe to soak up the shocks of the road or track, combined with excellent cushioning inside. We have been looking to source a British-made trainer for some time and so we are delighted to bring you this collaboration with a brand that is synonymous with the birth of the athletic shoe. Norman Walsh has a fascinating history and we are very proud to be supporting a niche British manufacturer with incredible authenticity and history by making our exclusive Herring designs with them.
